Eco-lodge is an entry for the Chain of Eco-Homes competition in Greensburg, Kansas, a town devastated by a F5 tornado in 2007. The Chain of Eco-Homes is a 12-home project intended to help rebuild the city "green". The purpose of this residential development is to create “Living Laboratories” featuring a variety of building techniques, sizes, prices, energy efficiency features, and green living products and services. The competition was for the last building of the 12-home project and will be used to house eco-tourist and teach both tourist and locals a like a smarter, sustainable, and more efficient way of domestic life.
